2nd graders practice their programming skills and learn about loops in Code.org.
4th graders work on their Digital Citizenship awareness posters. 5th graders work on their Digital Superheros. 1st and 2nd graders played a game called "Rosie's Runtime" while learning the basics of computer programming. They had to carefully put together a program that would get Rosie the Robotic Dog from start to finish while picking up bones and avoiding mud puddles along the way. They quickly learned the importance of communication, sequence, and direction!

1st graders explored Engineering Stations that included building towers with Strawbees, ramps with Keva plants, and creating Lego marble mazes. See more pictures HERE. 2nd graders discussed reverse engineering and deconstructed old electronics to discover what made them work. See more pictures HERE. 3rd graders played a Digital Superhero board game to learn more about how to be a good Digital Citizen and be safe online. 4th graders also learned how to be Digital Superheroes as they explored a toolbox full of tips. 5th graders began working their way through their Digital Citizenship lessons by playing games on Google's new Interland games designed to teach kids how to be safe and smart online. |
